No. Mountain River Charters is a professional transportation service that focuses on safety and mutual professionalism. Even though we offer similar charters as a typical “party bus”, we do not tolerate any behavior that is conducive to compromising safety or damaging the vehicle.

is the river float generally safe?

Yes. The portion of river you will be floating is a slow moving, mostly shallow river. However, the upper Yakima river can be just as dangerous as faster moving rivers. Protruding rocks, branches, trees, bugs, animals and other floaters are all hazards you may encounter on your float. We discourage any persons, young or old from floating if you have any issues with walking, swimming or any disabilities that may prevent you from safely navigating your way down the river. You are floating at your own risk as this is not a guided tour. Mountain River Charters provides you with the transportation to and from, tubes, paddles, life jackets and dry bags. River shoes and sun block are highly recommended.
